Wetlands Area
Pegasus will be developed in accordance with strong conservation principles, to protect and enhance the local ecology and natural environment – both within the township and in the surrounding area.
Included in Pegasus will be three distinct Conservation Management Areas, each designed to preserve and promote the area’s unique ecology.
- Unique wetlands, reserves and natural habitats
- Linked by a 25-kilometre network of walking and cycling trails
- Boardwalks to protect the environment and provide easy access
- Extensive waterways for kayaking and recreation.
