Visit the Pegasus Display Centre and take a walk through the world’s largest model of a town. The Pegasus model has been created to let you literally walk through the town in miniature giving you a feel for what a fantastic place Pegasus will be to live in.
The model has been built to a scale of 1:100 and covers an area equivalent to the size of a quarter-acre section. Built in China, the model took a team of 300 skilled model makers six months to construct. It features almost 2,000 individually designed buildings and weighs in excess of 30 tonnes. The model is also extensively landscaped with around 53,000 trees, and is lit by over 15,000 individual street and building lights.
As well as the model, the 5000m² Display Centre includes a range of entertaining and innovative features. The latest interactive technology enables you to take a virtual tour of the town, using touch screens located throughout the building. A ten-minute film, playing regularly in the town’s theatre, is designed to showcase the town’s many assets and recreational opportunities.
